Temporary 402 fix likely to be done “later this week” MTO says

Mental health unit ready if hospital seeks spike in COVID-19 patients
April 24, 2020
A new mental health facility has opened in Sarnia.
Bluewater Health, with the help of a number of local businesses, has opened the mental health inpatient post-acute care facility on Exmouth St.
Paula Reaume-Zimmer of Bluewater Health says it will be used as an emergency backup to the unit in the hospital if the hospital space is needed for COVID-19 patients.
People using the home will be in stable condition and almost ready for complete discharge from the hospital. It will be operated around the clock, just like the hospital’s unit.
Reaume-Zimmer says the people who stay in the home will be treated and cared for like inpatients at the hospital but with the more home-like environment that will help lead to a successful transfer out of hospital.
