Brad Riley of the Lambton Jr. Sting Minor Midgets has won the organization’s Coach of the Year for the 2019-20 season.
The minor midgets took the top rated team in the Alliance League, the Elgin Middlesex Chiefs, to the limit in the playoffs as well as having four players drafted in the OHL Priority Selection last month
“It’s an honor to be chosen for this award, especially when there are so many great coaches in the Lambton organization who are deserving of this award as well,” said Riley in a statement.
He went on to thank his wife Dawn and his coaching staff Paul Hurtubise, Craig Musico, Mark Phillips, Bastien Dufour, Jason Hoover, Scotty Gray and Johnny Maniuk and the league executive for their unwavering support.
