June 8, 2020
The Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce has a new president.
Allan Calvert – who has most recently been the sales manager at Lexus in Sarnia, has been named the new CEO.
“We had several strong candidates, but Allan Calvert was the ideal choice. Allan brings over 30 years of diverse business, sales and operational experience to the Chamber. With his exceptional background and skill-set, Allan is uniquely positioned to represent all stakeholders in Sarnia-Lambton,” says Board President Mary Jean O’Donnell.
Calvert came to Sarnia in 1984 to develop the Drawbridge Inn, he’s volunteered with Crimestoppers, the Rotary Club, the Southwestern Ontario Travel Association and the Bluewater GranFondo.
Calvert started work at the chamber Monday. He replaces Shirley deSilva and is the third CEO in five years.
