Family health team attracts new doctor
June 8, 2020
The Central Lambton Family Health Team has recruited another doctor.
Dr. Alex Leonard, who was a rural medicine resident in Petrolia and has been working in the Emergency Department at Bluewater Health Sarnia, is joining the family health team.
“After how much I enjoyed my two years of residency here, I couldn’t imagine opening a practice anywhere else,” he said in a news release Monday.
Leonard begins his practice Aug. 1 and will be accepting patients. He’s the fifth new doctor to come to Petrolia in the last five years.
