LCCVI’S Junior Boys heading to LK finals

COVID-19 field hospital dismantled
June 17, 2020
It was never used, but stood at the ready. Now the COVID-19 field hospital is coming down.
The hospital, at Lambton College, was a joint effort between Bluewater Health, Sarnia and the college.
The 150-field hospital was set up two months ago in case the number of COVID-19 patients overwhelmed hospital resources. Monday, the last COVID-19 patient left the hospital.
The non-clinical item, like the beds, will be stored for future pandemic use in the city.
Officials from all three organization credit the community for rallying to build the field hospital.
