June 27, 2020
The Lambton Jr. Sting put a bow on its COVID-shortened season by recently announcing its Most Valuable Players on social media.
Jace Dupuis was handed the honour in the Minor Bantam division.
“In Jace’s first year playing at the AAA level, he has excelled and dominated in almost every part of the game,” says coach Rob Lave is making the choice.
“Jace’s strong physical presence on the ice elevated the game of all players around him and was noticed by both players and coaches across the league. Jace’s quiet leadership in the dressing room and ability to mentally prepare for on ice activities made him a leader on the team and one of the most consistent players on the ice.” Lave says
Dupuis’ team-first mentality allowed the coaching staff to have full confidence in him to play key minutes critical points of any game.
