Four more people COVID-19 positive at Village on St. Clair

The COVID-19 outbreak at Village on the St. Clair continues to worsen.

Lambton Public Health reports 25 residents and 10 staff members are now positive for the respiratory virus – three residents and one staff member. Two residents have died.

The four at Village on the St. Clair were among the 10 new cases reported by Lambton Public Health today.

There are now 202 people ill with COVID-19 right now, down 21 from yesterday. There have also been 32 recoveries. There are still 13 outbreaks including 11 in long term care in Lambton.

The number of daily cases in Ontario is 2,655 compared to 1,913 yesterday. Eighty-nine people died yesterday including 60 residents of long term care.
