Three people from the Wallaceburg area are facing charges after police stopped a suspicious car.
Thursday, around 8:20 am, residents called Lambton OPP saying there was a suspicious vehicle in the St. Clair Township area. The same vehicle had been seen in the area the day before and it was suspected the people inside had taken items from a nearby business.
Officers stopped the vehicle on Highway 40 and saw stolen property in it. The people inside were arrested and the property was returned to its owner.
Miranda Boles, 34 and Shawn Prohney, 35, both of Wallaceburg and Neejig Shognosh, 33, of Walpole Island, have all be charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of stolen property.
