Ontario’s daily COVID-19 case count falls below 1,000

The number of new COVID-19 cases in Ontario has dipped below 1,000 for the first time since Nov. 6.
The province is reporting is 945 new cases Wednesday. There have been 18 deaths including 11 in long term care.
Another 14,000 people have been vaccinated.
The province says every long term care home has now been vaccinated, however there are still some long term care residents in Lambton scheduled to get vaccines today.
There were 17 new COVID-19 cases in Lambton reported today. Fifty nine people are now ill and another eight people have recovered. There has also been another death and another outbreak however the details are not yet available on the public health website.
