Snowfall warning or Lambton County for Monday and Tuesday

February 15, 2021

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Lambton County.

Officials say between 15 and 25 cm is expected to fall today and Tuesday.

Two rounds of snow are expected; the first one is expected to persist into early this afternoon. Most people will see five to 10 cm of snow with snow squall activity near Lake Huron.

The snow will die down in the afternoon, Environment Canada forecasters say, but another round of heavier snow is expected to move in this evening and continue until Tuesday morning. Another 10 to 15 cm is likely.

Environment Canada says the snow may make visibility low at time and roads and sidewalks may be difficult to navigate.
