Another outbreak declared in Lambton

Lambton Public Health is reporting 21 more cases of COVID-19 Sunday and another outbreak.
Fairwinds Lodge is reporting a staff member who is ill with the virus. Long term care and retirement homes declare an outbreak when there is one case of COVID-19 in the home. It’s the third outbreak this weekend. The others were declared at Afton Park in Sarnia and St. Patrick’s High School.
There were 21 new cases recorded in Lambton Sunday – 29 more people have recovered. There are 229 people who are ill with the virus, up six from Saturday.
The province is recording another 1,791 new COVID-19 cases today, and 18 deaths, bringing the total to 7241.
