Petrolia going blue to show support for doctors
April 30, 2021
Saturday night, Petrolia’s historic clock tower will turn blue in honour of Doctors’ Day.
It’s being marked as a day of gratitude to those working during the COVID-19 pandemic across Ontario. The Ontario Medical Association asked municipalities to light up a landmark in blue May 1.
Mayor Brad Loosley says the town will illuminate the Victoria Hall tower “out of gratitude” for doctors in Petrolia and across the province.
