Sunday storm topples Florence area hydro poles

There was a lot of clean up going on after high winds from a powerful storm brought down trees the Florence area. The largest amount of damage was on Florence Road near Baseline north of Thamesville where 11 hydro poles toppled in the storm. Dozens of Hydro One workers were on the scene cleaning up the mess and trying to replace poles Monday. They were hampered by more rain Monday afternoon. Officials expect the power to return to the area by midnight.
