Lancers dominate at North Division Tennis playdown

LCCVI dominated winning the LKSSAA North Division Tennis Playdowns Tuesday.

The Girls Doubles teams and the Mixed Doubles teams captured the first and second spot in the division.

Tessa Jackson and Ella Jackson placed first in girls doubles while Madison Baresich and Karen VanDamme placed second.

In Mixed Doubles, Emma Patchett and Nolan Patchett won top price with Ali Goodacre and Ryan Noordam taking second.

Tristan Spuehler placed third in the Boys singles division to add to the LCCVI haul at the playdowns.

The Lancers came out on top with 32 points with Northern Collegiate placing second over all with 25.

LCCVI Junior girls championship bound

The LCCVI Junior Girls Basketball team is heading to the Lambton-Kent finals. The team defeated John McGregor 29-16 in the semi-final match up Tuesday in Petrolia. The Lancers will play in the final Thursday at a location which is yet to be determined.

Eagles fly into LKSSAA senior girls A basketball final

North Lambton has moved on to the Lambton Kent senior girls’ A basketball final with a 45-24 win over Tilbury on Monday in Forest.   Delaney Appeldoorn led the Eagles with 12 points.  Alexis Wice and Ally Rops had 10 and eight points respectively for the winners.
