Watford firefighter honoured for 55 years of service
November 28, 2021
The Watford firefighters honoured one of their own Saturday. Keith Milner has retired from active firefighting service after 55 years.
Milner, who joined the department, was 25 when he was asked to join.
He’s helped fight all of the major fires in the community including the destruction of the Watford arena.
Milner will still be seen around the hall – the mechanic maintains the trucks and is the caretaker of the hall.
Milner was presented his helmet at a ceremony Saturday night.
