Power outage closes Pt. Lambton school

December 8, 2021

Students at Riverview Central School have been dismissed early on Wednesday, December 8 due to a power outage in the area. Due to the power outage and the estimated time of restoration, Lambton Kent District School Board has decided to close the school on Wednesday, Dec. 8. 

Student transportation will be provided to ensure that students are safely transported home.

It is expected that Riverview Central School will be open to students on Thursday, December 9. Due to the temporary power outage, the phone lines at the school are currently unavailable. In the case of an emergency, please contact the Lambton Kent District School Board at 519-336-1500.

Wheelie bins roll into Petrolia in two weeks
