Several Lambton Jr Sting players named Alliance All-Stars

December 23, 2021

Game, slated for Jan. 8, has been cancelled

Despite the cancellation of the Minor Hockey Alliance of Ontario all-star games originally set for January 8 in Komoka, several members of the Lambton Junior Sting have been recognized as AAA all-stars for the 2021-22 campaign.

The U15 list includes Luke Laevens, Owen Knight and Jack Nesbitt.

Honours from the U16 squad go to Josh Glavin, Jace Dupuis from Corunna, Evan Van Gorp of Watford, and Hayden Duncan from the East Lambton Minor Hockey Association, while Lambton U18 all-stars are Jace McGrail – a former Petrolia Oiler and Anthony Tudino.

“Unfortunately, this is not the position we had hoped to be in at this point in the season, but following consultation with our league, coaches and public health it is with the best interest of the health and safety of the selected players, their League teammates, the bench staff and volunteers to cancel all three (U15, U16 & U18) games,” said a statement from the Alliance .
