Two face 18 charges after Walpole Island drug raid

Two people are facing a raft of charges after a drug raid on Walpole Island First Nation.
Lambton OPP have been working with the Walpole Island Police Service for a number of months after the First Nation declared a state of emergency over the opioid epidemic.
Early Friday morning, Lambton OPP, the street crimes unit, the TRU team, Canine Unit, the Emergency Response Team and the Organized Crime Enforcement Unit of the OPP with the Walpole Island Police and Chatham-Kent Police went into a home on Peters Road with a search warrant.
OPP say fentanyl, methamphetamine and hydromorphone were seized by police. They also found a loaded firearm and ammunition.
Police arrested two people; Clarissa Shipman, 30, of Windsor has been charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, uttering threats and assaulting a peace officer.
Cameron Johnson, 41, of Walpole Island First Nation faces 14 charges including two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, and two counts of unauthorized possession of a weapon.
Shipman has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice-Sarnia on a later date. Johnson has been held in custody following a bail hearing.
