Squires advance to Senior A championship series

The Petrolia Squires will play for the WOAA senior A hockey title following a four-game sweep of Milverton in the semi-finals.

The Squires got out the brooms with a 4-3 overtime win on the road Sunday afternoon. TJ Harris had the game-winner in the extra period.

Eric Marsh, on the powerplay, Jack Hackett and Isaac Mclean, shorthanded, also scored for the Squires.

Petrolia set up the sweep with a 6-2 win at Greenwood Saturday.

The Squires now await the winner of the other semi-final between Lucknow and Shallow Lake. Lucknow leads that series, three games to two.
