Petrolia Flyers to play in Tier Two playoffs
March 21, 2022
Due to an abbreviated schedule this season, the Provincial Junior Hockey League has introduced a tier two playoff for teams that missed the playoffs and those knocked out in the first round of the postseason.
The Petrolia Flyers, Blenheim Blades and Dresden Junior Kings are the three teams that opted in to the new format.
They will play a home-and-home round robin against each other and the top two teams will play a best-of-seven series for essentially the consolation title.
The Flyers open against Dresden this Thursday night at Greenwood at 7:30.
