Flyers drop first playoff game to Kings

The Petrolia Flyers scored three in the third but it wasn’t enough to beat the Dresden in the first round of the tier-two playoffs.
The Kings beat Petrolia 6-4 Thursday night.
Dresden held the Flyers off the scoreboard until 7:47 of the second when Noah Harse notched one for Petrolia.
Victor Tang, Evan Morningstar and Bailey Moffatt scored in the third. Moffatt’s came with just 13 seconds left in the third.
Ethan Waddick had the hat trick for the Kings.
The Flyers take on the Blades Saturday night in Blenheim.
