Lancer Boys high school hockey champions

The LCCVI Lancers are high school hockey champions after the Boys team defeated North Lambton 3-1 Wednesday afternoon.

Craig Richardson had a goal and an assist in the second. In fact, all of the Lancer goals were in the second.

The Eagles struck first as Evan Vangord scored with just 27 seconds left in the first.

The Lancers answered back at 9:19 in the second, with Richardson getting an assist from Pheonix Timmington on the goal.

Roen Douglas hit the mark at 7:00 minutes for the Lancers. Jeff Power got the assist.

And with just 3:20 Miller Mailleux score with Richardson assisting on the play.

This was the third matchup between the Lancers and Eagles this year and the Lancers first win.
