Plea to manslaughter leads to release in Sarnia

A 34-year-old Sarnia man charged with second-degree murder Jan. 12 is now out on bail. 

Timothy Noj plead guilty to the lesser charge of manslaughter and is now out on bail, after appearing in Sarnia court on March 29. 

An injured man was rushed to hospital on Jan. 9, 2021 after a fight with  Noj. Luis Hernandez, 26, soon succumbed to his injuries in hospital. Noj was arrested three days later at a Sarnia motel.

He was released on bail fitted with an electronic monitoring device, which he is to wear at all times.  

His next court date is scheduled for April 19.
