May 20, 2022
Lambton OPP are investigating after a 35 year-old woman was hit by a car while crossing Petrolia Line.
Around 7:45 am Friday, a woman who appeared to be using the crosswalk at the corner of Petrolia Line and Greenfield Line was struck by a vehicle. OPP say she had serious but non-life threatening injuries.
A pair of shoes and a bloodied towel lay at the intersection late into the morning.
A driver has been charged with failing to yield for a pedestrian under the Highway Traffic Act.
