Enniskillen Township wants people to see the community in new ways. So it is holding a photo contest to update some of the images people find on the municipal website.

Councillor Judy Krall is helping with the contest.

“We want pictures of things around Enniskillen – whether it’s sports or farming, because people go to that website and you want it to portray what’s going on in your community.”

Currently the website features predominately shots of farm fields in the community. And while that plays a big role in the township, Krall hopes people will submit some of the beauty they see as they travel around.

“There’s things I’m sure in Enniskillen that we don’t see. Even the wooded area out in Marthaville, people go out there they go for walks, – some people don’t see that right now. So it would be nice to have those pictures on the website.”
The contest is open to Enniskillen residents and photos will be accepted until Sept. 30.

Photographers can find the rules and a waiver form on the township website. Photos can be emailed to [email protected].
