Starting Thursday, children over six months can get COVID-19 vaccine

Ontario will expand eligibility for COVID-19 vaccinations to additional populations Thursday.

Lambton Public Health says children over six months and under five years will get a pediatric Moderna vaccine, immunocompromised people between 12 and 17 will be eligible for a fifth dose after getting their fourth dose.

Public health will be taking appointments starting at 8 am on the website getthevaccine.ca or at 226-254-8222 between 9 am and 4 pm.

The vaccine will also be available at pharmacies and primary care physican’s offices.
