Centennial wins two team titles in X-country

Lambton Centennial won the team title in the boys’ nine- and 11 year-old divisions at Lambton Kent elementary school district cross country championships.
Petrolia’s QE II and Alvinston’s Brooke Central were third in the boys nine- and 10 year-old divisions during the meet last week at Cantara Park in Sarnia..
Individually, Harper Oulds of East Lambton in Watford was second and Linkin Hill of QE II placed third in the boys’ nine-year-old race.
On the girls’ side, Khloe Baron of QE II and Keala Pickard of Aberarder won the girls’ 11 and 12-year-old races respectively. Baron nosed out Kinwood’s Arlee Roder for the title and Pickard edged Eden DaCosta of QE II.
Paxton Bright of Lambton Centennial was third in the girls’ nine year-old race and Finnley Winegard of Errol Village was third in the 13 year-old competition.
Teamwise, Corunna’s Sir John Moore won the girls’ 12 year-old division and Kinwood was third, Wyoming was second in the girls’ nine-year-old competition while East Lambton and Lambton Centennial finished second and third in the girls’ 13 year-old division.
