Lambton has new acting MOH

Lambton County has a new Medical Officer of Health.
Dr. Karalyn Dueck has been appointed as the new Acting Medical Officer of Health starting Nov. 21. And the county is asking the province to appoint her as the permanent replacement for Dr. Sudit Ranade who is now the Chief MOH of Yukon.
Dueck served as the Acting Associate Medical Officer of Health for the Middlesex London Health Unit. Dueck, who worked through the pandemic in Peel and Toronto, completed a portion of her medical residency training at
Lambton Public Health under the guidance of Ranade.
“ I am very excited to begin working with the team at LPH and cannot wait to immerse myself in the community,” she said in a news release.
