Bryden retires as South Lambton Catholic trustee

A familiar face at the St. Clair Catholic School Board of directors has retired.

Carol Bryden has been a trustee for South and East Kent, Dawn-Euphemia and St. Clair Township for 16 years. She served as the board’s chair for a number of years and had been a teacher for 34 years with the board.

Tuesday night was her last meeting.

“Carol has devoted a lifetime of service to Catholic education,” says Scott Johnson, Director of Education. “Her steadfast commitment to our students, families and staff will be missed at the board table.”

Bryden will be succeeded by Jann Tooshkenig, who was acclaimed.

Sarnia firefighters rescue person from garbage truck
