Parents can breath easier; education workers have a deal with the province.
CUPE-Ontario President Laura Walton announced Monday 73 per cent of the workers voted in favour of the deal after weeks of turmoil which led to two days of political protests.
Over 40,000 of the unions 55,000 educational assistants, secretaries, custodians and early childhood educators took part in the vote.
Walton, who said she voted in favour of a deal, expected fewer workers to vote in favour of the deal.
