We may have just solved the secret behind Santa’s speed – he may be a volunteer firefighter. At least that appears to be the case in Watford. Santa appeared at the end of the parade wearing full firefighter gear – which seems to have been borrowed from Jan Joosten – waving to the crowds.
The wind and spirits were high in Watford for the annual Santa Claus Parade. Members of the Watford Legion stretch to straighten the flag as they marched and everyone was bundled up against the stiff breeze including the members of the LCCVI marching band.
