December 15, 2022
Children five and over will now be able to get the bivalent COVID 19 vaccine starting Dec. 21.
Health Canada recently approved the vaccine for the younger age group. Those over 12 had been able to receive the bivalent shot in October.
Provincial officials are urging people to keep up to date with their flue and COVID-19 vaccinations to stay healthy this winter.
Hospitals in Ontario have been flooded with young children recently with the flu, RSV and COVID-19.
