Wyoming firefighters called to field fire

Plympton-Wyoming Fire Chief Darryl Thompson says there was no damage but a lot of smoke at a fire on London Line.

Wyoming firefighters were called to a London Line farm Monday night for a field fire. Thompson said the farmer had a burn permit for the fire. The department helped to put it out since the town’s bylaw says the permits can’t be used after sundown.

Firefighters were on the scene for about two hours.
