Petrolia snaps losing streak with a road win

Noel Sanderson’s shorthanded goal at 5:44 of the third period was the game-winning goal as the Petrolia Flyers beat Lucan, 2-1 Saturday.
The win snapped a five-game PJHL losing streak for the Flyers.
Kyle Flamminio had the other Petrolia goal and Elijah Grant kicked aside 35 shots.
Petrolia, now 6-19-3 on the season, is at home to Port Stanley on Thursday. Game time is 7:30.
