The top rated Seaforth Centenaires had all they could handle last night beating the Squires, 2-1 in Western Ontario Athletic Association senior hockey action at Greenwood.
Petrolia is now 9-7 on the season.
Corey Pawley had his eighth of the season for the Squires.
They take on the Royals in Tavistock on Saturday, January 14 and the final regular season home game is against Minto on January 18. They close the season with two road games after that.
