Public health looking for dog owner after walker bit

FROM LAMBTON PUBLIC HEALTH:

Lambton Public Health is seeking information about the location of
a dog and its owner following a dog bite incident that occurred around 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 24 on Christina St. near Scotiabank.

The dog, described as large and brown, was seen walking on leash with its male owner who is believed to be in their late 50s or early 60s. The individual did stop and ask if the teenager was ok, but no information on ownership was exchanged.

If you have any information relating to the location of the dog and its owner, please contact Lambton Public Health at 519-383-8331 ext. 3584 or toll-free 1-800-667-1839. If the dog is not located and the health status of the animal verified, the victim will need to receive post exposure rabies shots.
