Closures due to snow fall advisory

January 25, 2023

The possibility of a significant amount of snow has lead to some cancellations and closures. Environment Canada is predicting up to 15 centimeters of snow which will reduce visibility at times and make travel difficult. The snow is expected to taper off overnight.

FROM THE TOWN OF PETROLIA

  • The Town of Petrolia Municipal Office is Closed to walk-ins, staff working
    remotely will respond to phone calls and emails.
  • The Victoria Playhouse Petrolia Box Office is Closed, with tickets and gift
    certificates available online at www.thevpp.ca.
    o Staff working remotely will return phone calls and emails.
  • The Greenwood Recreation Centre remains open at this time.

Warwick Township will also be closing its offices at 11:30 Wednesday in anticipation of the coming snow.

The buses to local schools were also cancelled today due to the pending weather.
