Seven seek councillor positions in Dawn-Euphemia

Seven people, including three incumbents, hope to become the next councillors in Dawn-Euphemia.
At the end of nomination day, Aug. 21, incumbents Jason Meyer, Paul LeBoeuf and Ann Gray had put their hat in the ring for the four positions up for grabs. The only incumbent not to seek re-election this year is Mark McGuire who served one term on council.
The newcomers seeking electing are Jerry Bijker, Brad Goodreau, current Petrolia councillor Debb Pitel, and Adam McBrayne, who owns a trucking company.
Mayor Al Broad has been acclaimed to a fourth term.
