Two charged in cocaine bust at Sarnia bridge

RCMP have charged two Brampton have been charged after about 100 kilograms of cocaine was seized at the Bluewater Bridge.

In a news release, police say a commercial truck was sent to secondary examination and customs agents found 89 bricks of suspected cocaine in the truck.

Canadian Border Services agents arrested the driver and passenger and seized the cocaine.

Vikram Dutta, 44, and Gurinder Singh, 61, both of Brampton have been charged with importing cocaine and possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Officials estimate the street value of the drugs could be $6 million.
