Brock Lane has signed on the dotted line with the GOJHL’s Komoka Kings.
The Port Lambton goaltender, who doesn’t turn 17 until mid-December, went 19-1 with the Elgin-Middlesex under-18 AAA squad last season during the regular campaign and league playoffs with seven shutouts and a goals-against average of less than one.
He and the Canucks, coached by Petrolia’s Brian Dobbin, represented Ontario at the national under-18 tournament finishing fourth in the race for the Telus Cup.
Meantime, Sting prospect Myles Dunn has signed with the St. Thomas Stars.
He was an eighth round pick by Sarnia in April off the roster of the Elgin-Middlesex under-16 AAA team.
