Sr. Lancers win girls volleyball title

Jr Girls come within a whisker of a championship

LCCVI and Great Lakes each won a Lambton Kent girls’ AA volleyball championship on Tuesday.

The Lancers downed John McGregor, three games to one in the senior final and the Wolfpack went to five sets before prevailing against the Lancers in the junior final.

In the senior championship match, LCCVI won the last two sets 25-22 and 25-14 after splitting the first two sets 25-23 and 17-25

In the junior championship, Great Lakes fell behind by two sets losing 15-25 and 19-25 before rattling off three straight sets 27-25, 25-21 and 15-8 in the decisive set.
