Petrolia golfer has two aces in one round

February 23, 2023

A Petrolia woman has accomplished a rare golf feat.

Anita Podolinsky was playing in the quarter finals of a two person team match play in Bradenton, Florida on Jan. 26, when she had not one, but two holes in one in one round of golf, according to Fairways Magazine

The first at the Riverstrand Golf and Country Club was 105 yards and the second ace was on a 118th fourth hole.

While Podolinsky and her partner won their quarter-final match, they lost the semi’s on the final hole.

Podolinsky has been playing golf for about 30 years. She hit her first hole in one on Kingswell Glen in Aug. 2021.

Two holes in one in one round has only happened three times in pro golf – all on the men’s tour.
