Petrolia’s Andrew Jaques had a goal and an assist but it wasn’t enough as the Strathroy Rockets fell 4-3 in overtime to London Sunday to drop the Rockets to sixth place in the GOJHL final standings.

Chatham took fifth place with a 5-4 win over Komoka.

Bright’s Grove’s Tanner Winegard had a goal and an assist for the Nationals in the game vs. the Rockets and another former Legionnaire Bradyn Santavy (below) had two assists.

London will take on St. Thomas in the first round of the postseason and Strathroy will be pitted against St. Marys.

Burn ban in affect in Plympton-Wyoming

The Independent Plympton-Wyoming has an open air burn ban in effect. The town’s Open Air Burn bylaw says burning isn’t allowed on poor air quality or smog days.
