Petrolia man wins $100K in lottery

After nearly 30 years of playing the lottery, a Petrolia man has won big.

Jamie Gale of Petrolia won $100,000 in the Jan. 11 Ontario 49 Encore lottery.

Gale has been using anniversary and birthdays for his numbers since he started playing when he was 18. This is his first big win.

Gale plans to pay off some bills, buy something nice for his wife, and put some money away for his son’s future.

Community gathers for Christmas dinner in Alvinston
