Lambton to consult on shelter location
Heavy wet snow causes power outages

Thousands of customers in Lambton County are in the dark as a winter storm moves through the region.
A Texas low is moving through the area bringing heavy, wet snow which is bending tree branches and causing power outages. There was also thunder heard in Lambton during the evening across the province.
The Village of Oil Springs is without power because of the weather. Bluewater Power doesn’t have a restoration time yet.
There are also outages for Hydro One customers in Marthaville, Inwood and Becher. There isn’t an estimate for restoration of service.
Meantime bout 8,000 homes in Sarnia and Point Edward were without power earlier in the evening. About 6,000 are still in the dark just before midnight.
