Expired plate leads to drunk driving charge in Corunna

An expired license plate led Lambton OPP to a drunk driver.
March 23, police patrolling in St. Clair Township when officers used new Automatic License Plate Reader technology. They found the vehicle had expired plates so they stopped it on St. Clair Boulevard to talk to the driver.
Police believed the driver had been drinking, gave a roadside test and charged the 33 year-old with two counts of impaired driving.
The man was released from custody.
