The Mooretown Lady Flags reached the U11 finals at the Western Ontario Girls Hockey League Day of Champions Saturday in Komoka.
The Flags came up just short bowing 2-1 to the Woodstock Wildcats in the championship contest.
The Flags and several other local teams are heading to the GTA later this month for the season-ending Ontario Women’s Hockey Association provincials which begin on April 13.
