Unmatched plates tip off OPP

Two Middlesex County residents are facing a host of charges after a traffic stop on Camlachie Road.

Lambton OPP spotted a vehicle April 11 with mismatched plates and learned the vehicle was stolen in Sarnia earlier in the month. Police arrested both people in the car without incident.

A search after the arrest found methamphetamine, cocaine, crack cocaine, fentanyl, oxycodone, hydromorphone prohibited weapons, ammunition, and other stolen property.   

Joseph Kennedy, 51, of Chippewas of the Thames First Nation faces seven charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking while Zandalee Murphy, 30, of Chippewa of the Thames First Nation faces five charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking.
