Charges after driver flees OPP

A 38 year-old man is facing six charges after a driver fled from Lambton OPP.
Around 8:20 pm, Aug. 2, OPP spotted a vehicle on Tashmoo Ave which didn’t stop for police earlier in the evening. Officers converged on the behicle when it entered a parking lot and the driver was arrested.
The man of no-fixed address faces charges of dangerous driving, flight from police, resisting police, driving while under suspension, using an unauthorized plate and operating a vehicle without insurance.
The man was released to appear in court later. The vehicle has also been impounded.
