Crummy wins Jr Boys’ golf title

Liam Crummy won the overall junior boys’ golf title on the weekend at Sarnia Golf and Curling Club.  The Oil Springs product, who will be attending the University of Windsor next month, carded an 83.

He was three shots better than clubmate Jackson Policicchio of Petrolia. Policicchio, who has signed to play collegiate golf at Indiana Tech University in Fort Wayne., did win the boys’ 16-18 crown.

Hunter Policicchio shot a 76 to claim the boys’ 12-15 championship.  He didn’t qualify for the overall title because he was playing from different tees.
